"Challenge your skills as a train driver! Stop in the right place, at the right time." Zero Zero: Perfect Stop is a train driving game where the crank works the train's throttle and brakes. In Driver's Mode you follow the course diagram, obey speed limits and meet targets, trying to stop at each station "as punctually and precisely as possible", on 1-stop, 3-stop, 5-stop and Express diagrams along the Fuji Express line through Yamanashi. The Verge and Time Extension both connect it to Japan's Densha de Go! series. The crank needs "a fair amount of precision", but buttons can be used instead. It has online scoreboards, a player's guide and an original soundtrack.
It's by Hunter Bridges, released in the Catalog in August 2024 for $6. At 119 MB it's one of the larger Playdate downloads. It's in Panic's "Crank Wonders" collection, and the staff note suggests playing it on a train "for some train-ception".
