SPINDOWN is a block-breaking volley game for Playdate. Every block shows a number, and you have to hit it that many times to break it. You aim the barrel with the crank, fire your whole stock of balls in one volley and watch them ricochet around the board. Each turn the blocks move one column closer, and if one reaches your side the run is over.
The developer goes after the genre's waiting problem: turning the crank while the balls are flying fast-forwards (up to 8x), and holding B calls them all home. There are three modes: Endless, a Daily board that's the same for everyone that day, and hand-made Puzzle boards with no new blocks and a few shots. Besides numbered square and triangular blocks there are bombs, lasers, scatter, armor and +1 blocks. Your run is saved when you leave, there's a dark mode, and an aim line shows the first bounce. It was published on itch.io on 5 Nov 2026 for $2.99.

Aim with the crank, fire a volley and count every numbered block down to zero before the board reaches you.
