Space Golf

What it is

Space Golf is top-down mini-golf on little platforms floating in space. You look down at the course from above, and the Playdate is the table: the crank turns your aim, holding A winds up the shot, and once the ball is rolling you tilt the whole console to lean the course under it.

There are 30 holes. Early ones are walls and corners; later ones add planets that bend shots, wormholes, a ferry over the void, black holes, ice, stardust that eats speed, and glass walls you can smash through. Falling off costs a shot; the cup won't take a fast ball. Every hole has a par, and the developer says a search program plays through all 30 before every build to keep them beatable. English and Ukrainian are both supported (switch in the system menu); B on the title turns the synth music off. It was published on itch.io on 5 Nov 2026 as name-your-own-price (suggested $2.00 per itch data.json; Download Now / min price $0).

Who made it

van9_wuz, per the itch.io page. Typefaces: Roobert (Panic) and PT Sans (ParaType, SIL OFL 1.1; license text ships inside the game). The itch.io AI disclosure says the game was built with Claude (Anthropic): code, level design, 1-bit art, procedural music and text were AI-generated under human direction and playtesting.
