oom is "a rhythmic dungeon crawler where player simultaneously moves and shoots on the beat and controls the direction of the character with the crank". The store calls it "an unusual take on a rhythm game where decisive action is made in-between the beats". You're a small circular ship, propelled by the shots you fire on the beat, working through a large map where each room has one challenge: an enemy, moving walls to dodge in rhythm, or a small puzzle. Upgrades open paths you couldn't pass before, so Simberg calls it "almost a one-puzzle-per-screen Metroidvania". He also says it began as DLC for Omaze, and that the visuals were inspired by wrapping paper at the Bauhaus Museum in Dessau. Audio is essential, and the crank needs "a fair amount of precision" while you press A and B. The whole game is 99 KB.
It's by Gregory Kogos, creator of Season One's Omaze, and Panic's staff note calls it that game's "spiritual successor with a new rhythm component". It's been in the Catalog since June 2023 at $6 and is in "Crank Wonders". The Playdate Podcast covered it.

A spiritual successor to Season One's Omaze. Move and shoot on the beat while steering with the crank through a map of one-puzzle rooms.
