Reflections: Nightingale is a short, text-heavy narrative game. Panic's staff note says it "stands out for its immersive, thoughtful storytelling around hospitalization and illness". It plays on the D-pad and A button only and works without sound. The content warnings are long and should be read first. The store lists mild blood and R-rated language, and mature themes including suicide, self-harm, child abuse and illness.
It's by Kodiak Games, with a store link to Ledbetter Games. It's 395 KB, costs $3, and has been in the Catalog since November 2023. It won Best Narrative Game at the 2023 Playdate Community Awards (per the store page), where the developer wrote that it "resonated with people in a way I could never have imagined". Panic lists it in "Great Stories".
