"There are presents hidden around the house. Who can wait for Christmas morning to open them all?" In Hidey Spot you're a kid sneaking through the house at night to find your gifts before the family wakes up, and "maybe it'll turn out there's something else for you to discover in the home you thought you knew so well". There's no combat. You explore, read short, characterful descriptions of your sleeping family, and search for hiding spots. The store calls it "a spoopy little adventure every kid will relate to. Short, sweet, and just a little challenging." It's made in Pulp and uses only the D-pad and A button.
It's written, designed, coded and drawn by Neven Mrgan, with music and sound by David Wester. It costs $6, the source code is public, and Panic lists it in "Great Stories".
