What it is
Echo Drop! follows Mina and Kai on their way to becoming DJs, from a school performance to cozy cafés and beyond. In each song you crank a cursor around a ring in the middle of the screen as notes fly in from both sides, line up with the right note, and press a face button on the beat. Simberg describes the soundtrack as "licensed, pumping EDM/house music". There are three difficulty levels and "no specific perfection requirements to progress", though the crank needs "quite a precision". It has online scoreboards.
It's by GrimPros Games, with design and code by Vincentius Madya and story by Khiara. It came to the Catalog in November 2025 for $8, with updates into July 2026. It's a Panic Staff Pick: "A great rhythm game that you can't miss!" At 136 MB it's a big download.
